KWIN Greenhouse horticulture 2019, English translation (pdf)

The 26th edition Quantitative Information (KWIN;NL) for the Dutch Greenhouse horticulture is a regularly appearing report at Wageningen University & Research greenhouse horticulture, in Dutch.
This version contains the course of areas for the different crops, indicative prices for the equipment and for the main crops a calculation of the revenues and expenses.

The cost prices per period are calculated, considering an operating profit set to zero. For a sound management the sales price should be higher. With this average cost price calculation the grower gets a tool when selling his products.

For the average economic cost price, a calculation is made of the cost of production and the share of the fixed costs. These costs are allocated to the production in the respective production period. For the vegetables and cut flowers these costs charged for each production period of four weeks. For the pot plants the cost prices are calculated for the production of 1000 plants.

The environmental impact of the crops is calculated the carbon footprint at each cultivation, per kg, per piece of production, or per m2 greenhouse area.
